“I created Woosh for the women we affectionately call the ‘makeup underachiever.’ She likes makeup, wants to look good, but doesn’t have a lot of time as she is busy doing things that are more important to her, like family, work, fitness…you name it. While some women enjoy watching YouTube makeup tutorials and following the latest trend, many women don’t have the time or patience,” says Andrea Abraham, Founder and CEO of Woosh Beauty. “Rather, they want a natural face or to do a little more with their makeup, like perfect their eyeliner, contour their face, fill in their brow and enjoy a natural eye shadow look without having to watch social media and buy 20 items. Our curated product line offers women easy makeup and tools so they can get their makeup on effortlessly and beautifully and get on with their life!”

With the help of a team of 10 people plus agency help for about five years, Woosh Beauty is making a name for themselves. The inspiration behind starting the business came from Abraham’s passion for makeup and wanting to make high quality products. “I wanted to put everything I loved into one place to make life easier. Makeup palettes are always just eye shadows or just blush and lip gloss and I wanted a palette that had everything for a full face of makeup and to put it in a slim book that I could take with me in my purse easily vs. a bulky makeup bag -so we named it the ‘Fold Out Face,’ as the book folds out to have s generous-sized mirror and 13 full-size pans of makeup,” she says. “This led to developing application tools to help women get their eye makeup on flawless- my favorite is our Corner Brush Eye Stamper where you can just stamp on your eye shadow and line your eyes in three easy steps.”

The name, Woosh, was inspired by the way they want people to do their makeup. “You can do your face in under five minutes with our Fold Out Face and woosh! You’re done,” Abraham says. “You can stamp on your eye shadow and woosh! You’re done!”

There are a variety of products offered through Woosh and they include:

• Fold Out Face Palette: Comes with six shades that match every skin tone. 
• Corner Brush Eye Stamper: “Dual-ended to provide gorgeous eye looks that you can just stamp, blend and line all-in-one brush,” she says.
• Even Eye Stencils: “Made of medical grade silicone to be gentle under eyes to capture eye shadow fall out and line eyes perfectly,” Abraham says. 
• Spin-On Lip Glosses: “We made them in eight perfect nude shades so they provide a pop of color that is never sticky, since we formulated them with shea butter to glide on and moisturize. And they are vegan as well,” she says.
• Flex and Curl Mascara: “Has a bendable wand that helps you coat each and every lash,” Abraham says.

There are also deals that Woosh Beauty has for the holiday season. “On our website, Wooshbeauty.com, we have some amazing holiday bundles at a great value, as well as fun stocking stuffers like our Secret Brush Set (four brushes that nest together and fit into your purse easily), or our Mascara Shield(so that you never end up with smudged mascara on your lids),” she says. “We are also doing a fun daily giveaway of these bundles from 12/2-12/8, on our Instagram.”

For the holidays, there are new products that Woosh Beauty are going to be offering. 

“One of my favorites is called The Minimalist, as we all have a friend or family member who is a makeup minimalist and just wants the basics -in this bundle, we sell our Fold Out Face Palette, Mascara and Lip Gloss, so that you can give the perfect gift to the woman in your life seeking simplicity,” Abraham says. “She can throw those three items in her purse, suitcase, makeup bag and be done! Our Bloss Gloss set is an amazing value as well, featuring all eight shades of our Spin-On Lip Gloss at 25 percent discount.”

A product that Abraham suggests are the Spin-On Lip Gloss shades. “They look beautiful over lipstick to provide a little shine and moisture and they are gorgeous alone, providing a nice pop of color. Woosh Beauty is different from other brands out there. “Woosh is different as we created never before seen items — Most are patented or patent-pending — that exist to help women with makeup, not scare or complicate things. Each of our products come with simple to understand instructions and tutorials,” Abraham says. “Unlike most brands, we launch new products constantly with very little differentiation , which leads to consumer confusion, we curated our line to be simple and understandable.”

Abraham says she loves that the product makes lives easier. “We hope to bring people more time to do what’s important to them and to not stress when they travel or go to the gym, that they forgot one piece of their makeup routine – the Fold Out Face has everything you need in one place so you’ll never forget anything,” she says. “You can focus on what is really important each day and less on makeup.”

What gets Abraham to come back to work every day is the fun she gets to have. “Our work is really fun, so I am always psyched to come back to work each day. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial drive to me and I like solving problems (and there always seems to be a challenge or two with a small business), so I find I’m constantly challenged in that way,” she says. “I also really like the creative side of the business and enjoy developing new ad campaigns and videos for our website.”
