The local fashion blogger behind a “Fab Over 40” blog just launched an online boutique so you can get the looks she loves the most! Read on for more!
In just over two years, Zindigo has grown to carry hundreds of designer labels and, inspired by social media, sales are made online through ambassadors around the world.
Cincinnati-based ambassador Tina Stanko loved the idea of the online boutique and decided to join in on the business. “Ambassadors around the world build their own online boutiques to drive traffic and promote the designers and lines,” she explains. “It is a perfect way for anyone who has a hectic schedule to make money and keep up with the current fashion styles and trends.”
Stanko says that she was inspired to get involved with Zindigo through her fashion blog. “I have a blog for women over 40, called Yellow Rose Style,” she explains. “And several of the designers I feature quote often on my site are sold through Zindigo, so I found it to be a perfect fit.”
Launched by Michael Bereck in 2011, Zindigo houses all of its inventory online, which can be accessed through each ambassador’s website, although Stanko is aiming to bring her own twist to the shopping idea.
“I would like to carry some samples for trunk shows, which would be something new for Zindigo, so I’m not sure how it will materialize but it is a goal of mine,” she adds.
When browsing through Zindigo’s website, you’ll find women’s clothes, shoes, jewelry, and handbags and even some infant and toddler clothes, menswear, home fragrances, snuggle blankets, diamond ear phones, and some other miscellaneous items.
Stanko says it isn’t the same items you’ll find at big box stores like Macy’s. “The uniqueness of items is what I love about when it comes to purchasing from our site,” she says. “Everything is like that. You can shop in the middle of the night and have it to your house in just a short time. You don’t need to worry about quality. If the size is wrong you can return it too.”
When asked what it is that she enjoys the most about her Zindigo boutique, Stanko says it’s the fun of posting new items that come in. “I love putting things together on my blog and creating new looks,” she says. “Many of my friends ask where I purchased something I may be wearing and it’s fun to tell them, ‘My Boutique!’”
