Cincy Chic: What is Happily Mom?
Joyanna Grace, Founder of Happily Mom: Happily Mom helps moms move beyond survival mode so that they can be themselves and genuinely thrive while being “Mom” too. It’s classes and workshops that help you navigate all the crazy of mom life while providing a space of encouragement where you can grow personally & in your role as a mother.

It’s all about Mom, her story, her needs, her journey. Every class provides space for you to process, reflect, and connect with other moms while learning amazing tools, truths, and tricks for your success. We talk about how to navigate ALL the things we experience like fear, comparison, perfection & guilt in motherhood— as well as discuss all the questions of “Am I doing a good job?”, “What’s normal?” and “How do I still be me?”

Cincy Chic: Who’s behind it?
Grace: That’s me. Joyanna Grace!! (Hey there!) I love laughter. I love learning and most of all LOVE educating and empowering women! I’ve been encouraging & equipping women for the last 10 years through mentorship, education, really every chance I can get. It’s who I am, and I’m passionate about moms because I’ve walked through the struggle myself & can’t wait to show other women how to find victory too.

Cincy Chic: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Grace: Well, honestly it was my own struggle that woke me up to the realization that there weren’t resources out there like this. I started teaching Childbirth Education after I had my oldest son. I’d been an intensive care nurse for years before that but became totally transfixed by the mom world when I went though all the birth & baby care classes while pregnant.

Then I started teaching other new moms and realized they were headed into this journey without honest insight into how massively their lives were about to change! Support for moms transitioning to life after birth just wasn’t there. But need for tools and help understanding our own needs reaches far beyond the new mom. It’s all of us. We all need it, so that’s why I created these classes for moms in every stage.

Cincy Chic: What makes Happily Mom unique?
Grace: Well, there’s a lot of classes that teach about how to take care of the baby but what about how to take care of mom? What about classes that speak specifically to the struggles and challenges we face uniquely as well as collectively as mothers? That’s what makes Happily Mom unique. We’re bringing the conversation back to Mom.

Cincy Chic: What services do you provide to new moms?
Grace: Mom life is hard.

What often happens, specifically in life with little ones at home or after just giving birth, is we get tunnel vision and can only see what’s in front of us and all the demand. At Happily Mom, we help expand the realm of what’s possible opening up your mind to see the full spectrum, healthy ways of thinking, and processing.

Motherhood 101 is specifically for NEW moms, pregnant, adopting, fostering- all new moms. It’s everything you wish someone had told you about & then how to navigate it like a pro.

The other classes are designed for ALL MOMS: Victory on the Emotional Journey, The Art of Mothering Well, and an interactive workshop titled Thriving On Purpose which helps you build a roadmap to living a life you love, starting now not later. That one’s offered as both a one-day or a 3 wk-series.

Cincy Chic: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Grace: Gosh! I’m so ambitious I have to contain my ideas so they don’t run away with me! But yes, we’ve got some awesome partnerships brewing behind the scenes and Mom events in the works too.

Cincy Chic: Where can readers go to learn more and follow along?
