Does 2020 have you filled to the brim with fears, emotions, and pain?  Our life coach columnist shares a helpful releasing technique.

Hello? Is this thing on? Have you ever seen someone go up to the mic and that is the first thing that they do? Or speaking into the cell phone asking, “can you hear me now”? Perhaps this is how you are feeling about 2020. Hello!?

Isn’t it interesting to think just a year ago your life appears so different? Over the past several months, you have truly been bombarded with the ongoing emotions of 2020. You definitely didn’t have this on your vision board, and now you are tapping into mic speaking to the Universe saying hello is this thing on? Are you out there?

What if the tapping I’m referring to could be a way for you to release your own fears, emotions, and pain? Would you be interested?

Think outside of the box for a moment.  There is a tool/practice that is highly effective in shifting energy and moving through the uncomfortableness of negative emotions. This practice is called EFT (emotional freedom technique) and is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. Also referred to as tapping.

The practice uses the meridian points (much like acupuncture and acupressure) for moving energy in the body so it does not get stuck. Stuck energy can often lead to not only uncomfortableness but illness. Tapping is support for the body by creating a balance in your energy system and can be done at anytime and anywhere.

Today I encourage you to step outside of the box and start working with yourself in the manner that you can shift stuck energy and find balance in your system. Here is a video to get you started.  Jessica Ortner explains the practice in more detail and walks you through the tapping points of EFT.
