Tom and Brad Cunningham,

Back

Tom and Brad Cunningham recognized their own lack of financial literacy in 2003, which resulted in their founding Orangefinancial (Orange). This recognition came after some poor guidance and naïve adherence to supposed industry experts, left Tom and Brad financially decimated. So Tom left his business in Florida while Brad resigned from teaching so that they could focus solely on educating themselves on how money works.

Since then, they have built a financial organization, a strong community. The Orange “Vission” is dedicated to reducing bankruptcy and divorce rates in Greater Cincinnati while increasing savings rates, developing good financial organization, and becoming bullet-proof from life's unexpected events. After thorough research, Tom and Brad also created a specific women's initiative relating to finances through "Wine, Women and Wealth" events and Orange's own Women's Advisory Board.

Tom, the oldest of nine children in eight years, was born in Clifton and attended Roger Bacon High School. Upon graduation from Roger Bacon, Tom built the first of four businesses and continues to serve the community as a true entrepreneur. He and his wife, Vickie, reside in Montgomery with their youngest of five children. Outside of Orange, Tom is actively involved as the founder of ORNG (a dedicated local business networking group) and is a partner and co-owner of the Stone Creek Dining Company.

Brad, the oldest of Tom's five children, was born in North College Hill and attended St. Xavier High School. Upon graduation from Miami University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, Brad taught fifth grade and special education in South Florida. He and his wife, Michele, reside in Madeira with their three children. Outside of Orange, Brad spends his time with family and training.
