Give a thoughtful personalized gift (and give yourself the gift of saved time!) with this local lady’s new business! Read on for more!
Love giving thoughtful, personalized gifts, but are usually pressed for time so you opt for something quick and easy? Sound familiar?
“But what if you could have something thoughtful and personalized as well as quick and easy?” wondered Cincinnati-based Sherrie Hale. That thought later led her to launch Unique Boutique Baskets, a business inspired by her love of making gift baskets.
“I always made gift baskets for family and friends growing up, and loved seeing everyone’s expressions when they got them,” she says. “They loved getting the unique items I put in them and appreciated the thought that was put into them.”
Hale took her love and idea and transformed it into a business. Because anyone can purchase and give cookie cutter gifts, Hale wanted to offer the public something that was from the heart and unique. Plus, with so many busy schedules, she wanted to take the pressure off of others when it comes to creating a unique gift .
“I give the purchaser their time back and handle it all for them,” she says.
Unique Boutique baskets is nearly a year old and in that time has expanded its gift basket offerings to include spa baskets, college student boxes, coffee/tea lover baskets, wine baskets, fur baby baskets, bridesmaids baskets, and birthday and special occasion baskets.
“I can custom make baskets and boxes for any occasion,” adds Hale.
When you purchase a basket from Unique Boutique Baskets Hale does the shopping for you. “I do all the work and spend all the time looking for the most unique items and arrange them in such a way that is pleasing to the eye,” she explains. “I also can hand deliver locally and include a special, personalized note for the receiver from you.”
Hale also strives to include items in baskets that are from other small businesses.
Baskets from Unique Boutique Baskets range from $40 to $100.
Although Hale’s Unique Boutique Baskets are currently not in any local stores, she does work to donate baskets for several charity events for clients in the Cincinnati area, including baskets for events at Brow Envy Ohio.
Hale says that in the coming months she plans to add homemade organic body and sugar scrubs to her baskets as well as the option to purchase them separately.
To learn more about Unique Boutique Baskets, visit them on Facebook. Hale says she is currently working on a website that should be done soon.
