Make-up Assignments
The last time you tried to spice up your makeup, you scared a couple people. Including yourself.
Don’t worry. Experts at The University of Cincinnati have you cosmetically-challenged cuties covered. UC alone offers 30 classes dedicated to teaching makeup and wig design. From the first level of classes covering the basic makeup techniques to the most advanced class which teaches students how to apply latex appliances, there is a class for everyone interested.
You can certainly go to any Clinique or MAC counter at your local mall and have a trained professional do your makeup for you and inquire as to how they apply your eye shadow so perfectly. Or you can take an initiative and really learn how to perfectly apply your cosmetics by taking one of the 30 classes offered through the Theatre Department at UC. Classes are conducted in quarters.
According to the course description for the 16THPR110 class, Introduction to Makeup, “Classes will cover the following topics: facial anatomy, modeling with paint, corrective makeup, age makeup, three dimensional makeup and facial expressions.”
From a day at work to costume parties, you will have the upper-hand when it comes to applying your makeup and you’ll be the go-to girl for makeup tips.
