M.A.C Cosmetics’ Viva Glam VI: Charity and Artistry in a Tube

If you’ve seen a movie or a fashion show, you’ve probably experienced M.A.C Cosmetics. Originally created to be makeup for film, television and stage, M.A.C is known for its bright colors and interesting textures. Not to mention the eclectic staff of makeup artists that can show you how to add artistic flair to your makeup — or simply put together a flattering, everyday look.

The lipglass was created specifically for their newest spokesmodel, Fergie, who joins such diverse talents as k.d. lang, Christina Aguilera, Debbie Harry and Lisa Marie Presley in giving her name and face to this program.

With Viva Glam’s wide range of colors — from the original classic red to the other, more neutral colors — Viva Glam is an easy way to add haute couture to your everyday routine. If the classic red of Viva Glam I isn’t your cup of tea, you can add subtle color and shimmer with Viva Glam VI. Too light? Play it up with lip liner, such as M.A.C Spice or M.A.C. Cremeliner in Creamola to deepen the color. Want some shine? Top it with the matching Viva Glam VI lipglass. “It’s a classic color that any skin tone can wear and is on trend with the fall’s chocolates, deep plums, mauves and accents of blues and golds,” says Trina Paul, makeup artist for Cincy Chic and former makeup artist at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and makeup artist at Saks Fifth Avenue here in Cincinnati. “It is a great neutral lip.”
