AV Beauty Bar
Downtown Cincinnati will soon be home to a new beauty bar, so we chat with the owner about the convenient, affordable services she plans to offer once those doors open.

Even though she spent the last decade living and working in several cities such as Chicago, New York and Nashville, Ariane Victoria is a Cincinnati girl at heart. However, Victoria’s roots called her home again this last year after she saw the city’s growing market and found the perfect space to open a blow out bar and beauty studio on Walnut Street called AV Beauty Bar, which she says will be officially opening in May 2016
The blow out bar and beauty studio will also boast a special bridal beauty division. Currently, Victoria says she and her team are booking now for on-location services in the comfort of clients’ homes and for bridal beauty services.
“We are happy to come to you for your girls’ night out or to get you ready for an event,” says Victoria.
Victoria says she was inspired to open her own beauty bar after she spent several years working at a concierge beauty company, where she made house calls and worked on video and photo shoot sets. While there, she found that she wanted to make her services available to the general public, where customers can walk in, relax for 30 minutes and walk out feeling refreshed and looking great.
“We want to make feeling amazing accessible, affordable and convenient,” she says.
The services offered by AV Beauty Bar include blowouts, up-dos, makeup services (airbrush and regular), makeup lessons, wardrobe styling, closet organization and men’s grooming. While AV Beauty Bar is all about the beauty, they don’t offer all hair services.
“We do not cut or color hair,” explains Victoria. “Instead, we focus on providing clients a timely and enjoyable grooming or styling service with a long lasting finish.
Victoria says that what makes her most excited about opening AV Beauty Bar is taking all that she’s done and learned in working with celebrities and bringing it to the general public. As a mother, Victoria says she understands how much of a struggle it can be when it comes to taking the time and energy to put yourself together.
“If we can make these services available to someone who needs a pick-me-up but cannot make it happen for themselves, then we have accomplished what we set out to do,” she says.
Victoria is looking forward to the future with AV Beauty Bar as they’ll soon be selling beauty products within the studio and eventually offer lash extensions.
“Once we open our doors we will host events not only for our clients, but to get the community together as well,” explains Victoria. We are also eager to start sharing our skills in the form of community service by teaching underprivileged people in the area proper grooming in order to reach their full professional and educational potential.”
