Beauty is an art not a science, says Victoria Henderson. That’s why she opened Beauty Marks Permanent Cosmetics, to treat clients as unique works of art, and not like a stenciled, cookie-cutter project.
Henderson has more than 30 years experience in the cosmetology field. “My experience in color theory and facial morphology assures clients of my technical skills and artistic credibility,” says Henderson. “It’s important to trust the application of permanent makeup to someone with an artistic background so you need to choose your technician carefully.”
Henderson has worked with many plastic surgeons and medi spas in Dayton and Kentucky. “I have finally settled into a studio located conveniently between these two areas,” says Henderson. The new location is Suite 4 inside Salon Concepts 9274 Centre Pointe Drive of West Chester.
Beauty Marks Permanent Cosmetics offers permanent eyebrows, permanent eyeliner, permanent lip color and 3D nipple/areola color tattoo for breast reconstruction patients. “Brows are always hairstrokes, never stenciled,” explains Henderson. “Also, eyeliner can be as subtle as ‘lash enhancement’ making the lashes appear to have thicker darker roots or you can go for a moderate, flattering look to make the eyes look extra wide for a more exotic look.”
One of the most common questions clients ask Henderson is if the procedure will hurt. “The answer is that by using painless administration of topical anesthesia makes the whole process extremely effective,” she explains.
Henderson is a member of the American Academy of Micropigmentation and a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals and certified in micropigmentation and permanent cosmetics. “I use state-of-the-art digital equipment with disposable needles,” says Henderson. “Plastic surgeons and dermatologists as well as optometrists are among the professionals I’m proud to say refer to me because of my artistic approach to permanent makeup.”
Your first consultation is free, says Henderson. “Take that first step towards freedom of applying makeup daily by considering permanent cosmetics,” she adds
