Blown Blowdry Studio

Blown Blowdry Studio

Blown Blowdry Studio is the result of big dreams and big hair. Over the past few years, owner Sarah Brown tamed her tresses by testing out various blow dry studio concepts from coast to coast. Eventually, she decided to make her dream come true and bring a new kind of blow dry studio in her hometown, Cincinnati.

“Having a studio isn’t enough; we are committed to having a place where people shine as much as the hair, that includes the stylists, our guests, and our community,” says Brown. “We promise to reveal the true beauty of every guest inside and out.”

What makes this blow dry studio concept different? Brown says they don’t do gossip, haircuts, highlights, or color. “We arm our team with the best tools in the business for creating perfect blowouts and up dos,” says Brown. “We thrive around glass-half-full types, and celebrate our clients at their best — beyond just a good hair day.”

They make it easy to book, too, says Brown. Not only will the salon be open seven days a week, but guests can book appointments online, or by calling the salon directly. Upon arrival to their appointment, guests will be greeted, checked-in and offered a beverage. They will be introduced to their stylist and will sit in the chair for a bit to look through the menu of services to discuss the style and services they are looking for. “The stylist will do a quick assessment of hair length and texture to ensure the proper tools and products are used to provide the guest with the very best of what we have to offer,” says Brown.

The guest will be escorted back to the wet room to receive a relaxing shampoo and available scalp/hand massage. “We estimate that the majority of blow-outs from our menu will take roughly 45 minutes from start to finish,” says Brown adding that up dos, braids and extension services will require additional time. In the meantime, guests will be entertained with music and movies during their visit.

“We offer several blow dry styles on our menu in addition to a braid bar, extensions and add on services like conditioning treatments with scalp and hand massages,” Brown explains. “Blow-outs are $40 no matter your hair length or texture. Up dos are $70 and children and men’s services are $25.”

Ongoing training is also important to Brown and her team. “We provide excellent training to our staff and will continue to provide continuing education to ensure our guests have the latest styles available to them, right here in Cincinnati,” says Brown. “Our products and accessories will be unique to Cincinnati and will be the very best we have to offer.”

In addition, there are plans to open not just one location, but two or three more salons. So, we will begin looking for more locations to pop up soon. Brown also adds they are hiring and have availability in all positions.
