Ladies, get a hot new look to sweep away those cold winter blues. A Shear Hotness look to be specific.

Ebony Newcomb, the CEO/Pro Artist/Master Designer launched Shear Hotness in 2010. She graduated from Paul Mitchell the school of Cincinnati and is currently a part of Eye Do Hair and Makeup LLC family, which has been voted “A Bride’s Choice” and “Best of Weddings” in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. “I have been lucky to work for amazing companies such as Christian Dior, Michael’s Salon and Spa, Paul Mitchell Ohio and more,” says Newcomb.

“The inspiration behind the concept of my business is when I decided to focus on hair, hence the shear part of my business title relates to hair shears,” explains Newcomb adding that she used to be obsessed with the word Hotness. “However, since I’ve aged and matured a bit, I use the word beautiful or fab a little more.”

Newcomb says she specializes in wedding, special occasion and photo shoot makeup applications. Her services include: airbrush and traditional makeup applications, eyelash applications, spray tans and makeup classes; hair services include but are not limited to cuts, color, extensions and up-dos. These services are all done on-site.

“Shear Hotness is different and unique because I have the ability to make a customer feel like the only person in the room. I also customize my service to fit the customer’s specific need.” Newcomb says. “I like to bring out natural beauty for the everyday woman or man and to leave the avant garde stuff to those who love it.”

The partnership with Eye Do Makeup and Hair, LLC is her newest expansion to the business. “There has also been an addition of airbrush tanning to the service menu,” Newcomb adds. “I’m really just trying to be your wedding, prom one stop shop.” Next up, she’s eyeing locations for a brick-and-mortar studio.
