Simply Networking’s International Taste and Sip

Simply Networking’s International Taste and Sip will take place March 14.

When girlfriends Reva Harden, Summer Lattimore and Vashti Chatman joined forces in June 2013, Simply Networking was born. The trio has been friends for more than 15 years and share many of the same beliefs, family values and passion for community. “Simply Networking’s mission is simple,” says Co-founder Vashti Chatman. “We brings professionals together every other month to share, build and make meaningful connections for mutual benefit in a fun and unique way.”

Since the official August 2013 launch, Simply Networking has been growing at an exponential rate fueled by enthusiasm from the community. By December 2013, the group was so encouraged by the growth that they expanded their services and coordinated an employee appreciation event for the Developmental Disabilities provider and training company with more than 75 employees.

“Simply Networking will continue the bi-monthly events,” adds Chatman. That’s why they’re hosting their International Taste and Sip on March 14. This professional networking event expects approximately 100 attendees. It’s being held at the Red Tree Art Gallery in Oakley. Chatman says the venue is perfect and there’s plenty of free parking and a view of Oakley’s newly revamped streetscape – just in time for the impending Spring weather!

“Attendees will learn fun facts, sample beer, wine and food from around the globe and connect with other professionals from various industries,” Chatman explains. “There will also be music, a free art exhibit, several chances to win prizes and a few additional surprises, all for just $10.”
