You may be wondering why I'm flooding my blog with dog quotes all the sudden. You may even be wondering why I haven't blogged in a few days. Well, my fiancee brought home my Christmas present a few days early on Tuesday. He got me a Hungarian Vizsla puppy!! We had researched and talked about getting this breed of dog after we got married, so the type of breed wasn't surprising… but seeing Pete come home with the sweetest little puppy a couple days ago was so surprising! Since then, we've been training him to go up the stairs, tell us when he needs to "eliminate" and when he's hungry. Needless to say, we've also been watching the "Dog Whisperer" marathon on the Animal Channel! He's such a good puppy… he's already about 95% house-broken and he already knows the command "sit." Look at me… I'm such a proud parent! 🙂

I know that first-hand because yesterday, little Dino went outside and apparently discovered our pond. Before we could stop him, he jumped right in! We were SO afraid because he's only 8 weeks old and we didn't know if he could swim yet, but a couple seconds after jumping in, his little happy head surfaced and we helped him out. But boy was he COLD!
