1.28.2008 – Quote of the Day – Smart Cars

I'm so excited. I was talking to Robert Joseph, with the Joseph Auto Group, today and he said that they are in the process of building a new Smart Car dealership. They should have their lot ready by mid-March! I'm hearing that there are thousands on waiting lists all over the country, and the first Smart Car drivers here in the Tri-State are now on the roads. But I'm excited that there will be a new dealership in the next few months where you can see them in person and test-drive them before commiting to purchase.
I think Cincy Chic needs a Smart Car, don't you? Seriously… I've had my eye on these suckers for four years. Ever since I went to Europe with my mom and saw one parked bumper-to-curb in a parallel parking spot, I had to have one. (I'm really bad at parallel parking, but it's also very fuel effecient so I'll play it off like that's why I'm getting one! ) I went online today and created one just for fun. Here it is:
Now, seriously… how cute is that?!?! And I went all out: convertable, heated leather seats and alloy wheels. It still was only $17k. I'm totally getting one. Especially since I accidentally ran into a parked car with my current car a few weekends ago. (I guess it's not just parallel parking that I'm bad at… haha!)
Speaking of new purchases, we got Dino a new coat because it's just so stinkin' cold out right now. He actually likes it (a.k.a. he hasn't shreded it yet). Here are a few pics of him sporting his new stylish coat.
And before I sign off here for the day, I want to write a little note about a new partnership we have here on CincyChic.com. We'll officially announce it with a press release, but for all you Chic Insiders, I'll just go ahead and spill the beans. See that little "TASTE" link up top? That's because we have a new partnership with TASTE Magazine, a print publication that features Food, Drink, Fashion and Style. They'll be featuring a restaurant guide here on the site, we'll be providing them with health and beauty editorial, and we'll have an interactive feature here on cincychic.com where you can submit recipes and we'll pick a select few to appear in the next issue of TASTE. Yays. Very excited!
