Month of January

Month of January

Where to start…… this has been a very busy but prosperous month!! It started on January 8-11th, where I attended the Life Skills Seminar at the West Chester Conference Center. What an experience…… I was able to work on my innerself including baggage I have been carrying around, and was tere a lot!!! I left the seminar feeling like a new person, and I am looking forward to this new year!!! On January 20th, I met with Sarah at Allusions… what an awesome person! I had a mold made of my head for a hair piece which was really neat, sorry no pictures….LOL. Sarah showed me some things I can do with my hair e.g. powder that makes my scalp look darker which helps with the lack of hair…. It is really neat. It will take about 8 weeks to get the hair piece, I can’t wait!! On January 21st, I joined the Greatest Loser at the West Chester Conference Center. The winner gets $500, and can I use it!! I have started using the Weight Watcher point system (which I used before) and doing a lot of treadmill work, so I am off to a pretty good start. The first week challenge was to attend a boot camp and for every person that attended, the team they were on would be able to deduct 1 pound per person, so you know I was there! The boot camp was at 5:30 a.m., yes…. a.m. and yes, I was there. It was a great workout!! However, when I went to leave the gym, my car would not start, yes Old Betsy was tired… After having her towed and looked at, my fuel pump went out…. Another gift to Old Betsy….. LOL! I tried to tell my friends that maybe it was a sign that I didn’t need to work out, but they quickly told me “no” ….. so much for that!! LOL. I have continued to exercise. Unfortunately, this week we did not meet due to the weather, what a bummer….. no challenge nor a weigh in (which I worked so hard for). I realized today that Superbowl Sunday is this week….. I won’t be eating junk, so hopefully I will win the weekly weight next week….. On January 23rd, I went to the Tuscany Spa and Hair Salon. The people there are very friendly and I really had a nice time. I met with Anu who told me she will be doing my eyebrow threading (all I could think of what a needle and thread). Anu was awesome and the room was very relaxing. The threading did not hurt at all and I prefer it to waxing any day!!!! I have been in contact with Mary Claybon, my Life Coach and am working on filling out the forms for her, we are in the process of scheduling our first meeting, I am very excited!!
