If you’ve never been to Ladies Night in Covington, this is one of their biggest events of the year! All of the Mainstrasse shops will have great discounts and specials going on, as well as refreshments and (often) entertainment. This is a rare chance to experience one of the area’s leading Shakuhachi players (Japanese flute)! Michael Gould, a Shakuhachi master and teacher, will perform from 6-8 p.m. at Essencha Tea House. $10. 3212 Madison Ave, 45209. Reservations recommended: 513-533-4832.


Sunday


Travel to the Far East at the Museum Center’s Asian Culture Fest, featuring a weekend full of music, dance, food and information on Asia. A schedule of events can be viewed here. Nakama, the Japanese trio Liz plays in, will perform at 2:15 on Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Hope to see you there!
