Matt Shelton is an amazing visual artist as well as an incredible musician. He is in a number of musical projects, and also currently has a beautiful exhibit of lightboxes at NVision. A short video on these lightboxes can be viewed here.

Thursday Nov. 27:

 

Thanksgiving! Before you go visit the folks, head over to the Duke Energy Convention Center for Give Back Cincinnati’s Fall Feast. It’s a big smorgasbord with live music, a kids zone, free food and a great coming together of more than 1,000 people. The party, which is open to everyone, goes from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. with meals beginning at 11 a.m. and served until 1:30 p.m. Turkey will be dished up by Jean Robert and his team of chefs. Entrance is free!

 

Friday Nov. 28

 

A fun, local original rock band will stir things up at The Comet – kicking off the night for Bullying Ben Jones and Souse. Music starts around 9 p.m. Check it out, and save room for the Comet’s delicious burritos and specialty salsa! The Comet is located at 4579 Hamilton Ave. in Northside.

Saturday Nov. 29

 

Music lovers, take note: there is yet another amazing benefit concert honoring Katie Reider, featuring a long list of some of the area’s best musicians! The lineup features:

 

Whitney Barricklow, Carole Walker, Tracy Walker, Crick Gypsies, Screaming Mimes, Lines and Spaces, Kelly Thomas & The Fabulous Pickups, The Bad Words, Catie Curtis, Lauren Houston, G. Burton, Downtown Country Band, Tupelo Honey

 

Proceeds benefit Chris Walker and Play it Forward, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping musicians in times of emergency.

Sunday Nov. 30
