There are lots of exciting things going on this weekend folks, and personally, I can’t wait! Have a great one!
Friday: The Comforts at York Street Café. They’re fun, rockin’ and a fantastic way to kick off the night! 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. 738 York St. Newport, KY 859-261-9675 $5 cover.
Saturday: Eric Loy at Essencha Tea House. If you’ve never heard this quirky virtuoso, it’s about time you did!

Sunday: This is an amazing concert featuring two hidden Cincinnati legends, Bowl and Bunns. These two Jazz heavyweights used to hang with greats like Charles Mingus, Sonny Stitt and Milt Jackson, and are performing as part of the Jazz Masters Series at the Art Museum. Proceeds benefit Katrina relief in New Orleans’ Musicians Village. 6 p.m. Cincinnati Art Museum Fath Museum, 953 Eden Park Dr 45202. 602-8855. $10.

If you are interested in diversity, you may want to consider joining The Freedom Project, a partnership between Give Back Cincinnati and Freedom Center Young Professionals. Founded in 2007, the Freedom Project serves as a forum for young professionals to think about ways to overcome racism as well as actively serve in the community. Includes dialogue sessions as a platform for brainstorming ways to break down racial barriers while cultivating relationships among young, diverse professionals.
