The CCM Center for Computer Music presents Sonic Explorations, featuring guest composer Jennifer Bernard Merkowitz and works by CCM faculty and students – including an improvisational performance with dancers wearing a wireless sensor system designed by computer science students. 8 p.m. Cohen Family Student Theatre, CCM, University of Cincinnati, 45221. One World Wednesday –Scandinavia– at the Cincinnati Art Museum, a night of Swedish culture in a great setting! Featuring: Live musical and dance performances, Israeli tunes spun by DJ Splotty Kaeco, Scandinavian food and drink tasting and gallery strolls. 5:30-9 p.m. Cincinnati Art Museum, $8.

You won’t want to miss Celebrate As One, a fantastic outdoor festival featuring an outstanding Israeli ensemble: The Idan Raichel Project, as well as about a dozen other local performing groups. This festival, in celebration of Israel’s 60th birthday, will have international music and dance, street performers and ethnic food. 4:30-10 p.m. Fountain Square downtown at 6th and Vine, 45202.
