Sweat in Style!
Going from the gym to the streets has never been easier. The newest workout gear is hip, fashionable and totally appropriate for lunch out with friends or coffee with co-workers! This Spring, women’s workout fashions not only come in chic colors but also make a statement that women are athletes too. For instance, Nike has launched an entire line of workout shirts for women that simply say “ATHLETE”. They come in fun, hip colors and $1 from every sale goes to the Nike Let me play fund. The fund helps girls and young women achieve their athletic goals.
The running skirt is also making a huge comeback this spring. Nicole DeBoom owner of SkirtSports® has brought the skirt back in an awesome array of girly colors and styles. It doesn’t matter if you are a weekend warrior or a tri-athlete, SkirtSports® has the skirt for you. Best of all, there is a fun, flirty top and jacket to match most of the skirts.
SkirtSports® has also jumped into philanthropic work. Each month SkirtSports® customers have the option to donate to either a women’s or children’s charity that assists people with their fitness interests.
The newest trend seen at the gym and all over the fitness show circuit is wild print workout pants, capris and shorts. Most items are handmade in Israel or Brazil and the pants are truly a work of art. Made from SUPPLEX, a highly breathable fabric that dries instantly. The most amazing part of this material is that when you put it on, it acts like an instant butt-lifter. Once you go SUPPLEX, you never go back.
This fabric has been seen recently in New York and Columbus fitness shows. Some of the designs have included black SUPPLEX pants accented with daisies running up the leg, or multi-colored polka dots, hearts or criss-cross lines.
Revolution Fitness in Oakley carries SUPPLEX pants on a limited basis. Nationally, the pants can be found at Stretchalicious.com or Margarita.co.il.
