An upcoming fundraiser gives you a girls night out filled with fun and shopping, all while supporting an important local cause.

City Chicks for Charity is an annual fundraiser for the Aubrey Rose Foundation.

City Chicks for Charity is a fun ladies night-out fundraiser for the Aubrey Rose Foundation which will take place on June 20, 2018 from 6-9pm. “We wanted to put something together for women where they could come and experience a relaxing night filled with a variety of vendors for their enjoyment,” says Nancy Hollenkamp, founder and CEO of the Aubrey Rose Foundation.

The Aubrey Rose Foundation provides support and help for those who seek to be lifted from the difficulties of life here on earth and to find a greater happiness. The foundation was started in honor of Aubrey Rose Hollenkamp who faced many challenges and obstacles at a young age.

City Chicks partners with a different charity each year to help them with their mission. This year they are partnering with Dragonfly Foundation to help kids with cancer. Dragonfly Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides distractions from the emotional, physical, and financial toll of cancer and bone marrow transplants, as well as the post-traumatic stress associated with the trauma of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Tickets are $35 if purchased up to and including June 6th; the price will be $45 starting June 7th and at the door. There will be all kinds of unique vendors from a chef giving cooking demonstrations, to jewelry, to book writers, to bath products, and so much more. Along with all of the vendors, there will be a special raffle; a Thelma & Louise 3-day, 2-night getaway to Nashville, valued at over $2,800.

The funds raised from the City Chicks for Charity fundraiser will help children with life-threatening medical conditions. City Chicks will take place at Switch Lighting and Design located at 312 West 4th St., Cincinnati, OH
