Affordable prices, friendly service, fashionable finds, and feeling beautiful as you walk out the door. That’s what you’ll experience at Pink Tulip Club.

They first opened in 2011, nestled in the second floor storefront on the corner of Cooper and Montgomery Roads. Then, building on that success, they opened a second location in December 2012. “Once that first location became popular and successful, we decided to open another store in Hyde Park,” says owner, Maria Versluis. “We carry similar merchandise at both locations.”

Pink Tulip Club carries clothing and accessories by popular designer brands, such as Free People, BB Dakota, Miss Me, French Connection, 7For All Mankind, Ella Moss and Splendid in sizes 0 to 12 and XS to XL, ranging from $29 to $69. “Pink Tulip Club currently carries 7For All Mankind jeans that are priced about $20 lower than major retailers as well as Ya Los Angeles that is $10 to $30 lower than the large chain stores,” says Versluis. “For example, Altar’d State carries dresses and tops by Ya Los Angeles. The same dress that they sell for $79 we may sell for only $49. We are not in the business of ripping people off. We want to break a common stereotype that boutiques are too expensive for an average person.”

Pink Tulip Club also specializes in dresses for formal and semi-formal occasions such as prom, homecoming, weddings and galas, which are always reasonably priced according to Versluis ranging from $49 to $89. “We make every woman feel beautiful while also giving them a break on those high-fashion boutique prices,” Versluis says. “We try to no longer carry any product that retails for more than $250. We pride ourselves on being affordable and having a great selection of casual and formal apparel.”

According to Versluis, Pink Tulip Club customers are girls and women between 14 to 50. “We have been highly praised for our exceptional customer service and a very friendly staff,” Versluis says. “Plus, we have frequent sales like our Semi-annual sale that’s going on now and lasting until the end of January. We also offer 10% off all regular priced merchandise through a free loyalty program for customers.”

Offering the latest trends in dresses, casual tops, jeans and sweaters as well as bags, jewelry, scarves, belts and hats at a reasonable price, Versluis hopes they will help continue to build Pink Tulip Club’s loyal clientele. “We provide personalized customer service and one-on-one style advice,” she says. “People love shopping with us.”

Pink Tulip Club’s original location in Montgomery is located at 9395 Montgomery Rd., and its second location in Hyde Park is located at 2651 Observatory Ave. To learn more about Pink Tulip Club, visit www.pinktulipclub.com.
