Looking for something new and unique to mix into your wardrobe? Pink Peacock Boutique may have just what you’re looking for. This new boutique, located in West Chester, opened in January 2014 as the first shop in the area to offer Bollywood-style clothing, purses, jewelry and other accessories.

Owner Amandeep Kaur moved to West Chester from New York, and was inspired to open her own boutique. While she’s proud to bring a bit of New York fashion to Cincinnati, she also supports local artisans by stocking her store with their products.

What is in the works for the future of Pink Peacock Boutique? “Every month,” Kaur says,”I try to bring something new to the boutique.” This month, for example, a new line of handmade Indian crafts will be making an appearance in the boutique. To encourage local fashionistas to check out the new boutique and all her recent arrivals, Kaur is hosting an all-day grand opening event on April 25. There will be refreshments, as well as a ribbon cutting ceremony with members and ambassadors of the Chamber of Commerce West Chester.

“Join us for the grand opening of a first-ever designer Indian Boutique in Cincinnati,” says Kaur. “Join the fun, eat, shop, and feel beautiful! Plus, you can show some love to your new local business!”

Kaur has hopes that the boutique concept is a huge hit, as she has a vision of launching several more stores throughout the Midwest. For now, though, she is focused on launching and growing the West Chester store.
