My favorite thing about fall is the wardrobe. I have lots of great sweaters, denim and boots. I can’t wait to feel that first crisp in the air to break out all my favorite fall fashions. I’m also looking forward to all the breast cancer awareness events that are coming up in September and October. Being a big supporter of the cause, I always look forward to participating in Race for the Cure and hosting our annual Bras with Flair on the Square event. Hope to see you all there!

I’m looking forward to accompanying local designer Amy Kirchen to New York for the debut of her fall and winter 2011 collections in The NY Fame Fashion Show. Thanks to Ultimate Air Shuttle, we’ll be flying in style! I’m bringing along the fabulous local photographer Gina Weathersby of Kiwi Street Studios, so our Cincy Chic viewers will be able to share in all of the behind-the-scenes glitz and glamour!

Matt and I have several trips to Minnesota and Michigan planned for this fall, and we’re super excited! Several of our friends and family members are getting married, and we can’t wait to celebrate with each and every one of them. We’re also delving into our own wedding planning and are continuing to get excited as the date draws near.

It always makes me sad to see the summer come to an end, because I am definitely a hot weather kind of girl, but it does bring a smile to my face that I get to wear all my gorgeous boots. I have more than ten pairs of boots ranging from booties to over-the-knee boots, and I cannot get enough of them.

I am looking forward to the weather that is perfect for boots, cardigans and skinny jeans! Not to mention Oxford is gorgeous in the fall, which will only make it easier to walk to class everyday!

Something I’m looking forward to this fall, besides all the new clothing trends, is Oktoberfest here in Cincinnati. After studying abroad and visiting the Hofbrauhaus in Munich, I was so excited to relive those memories here in Cincinnati at the Hofbrauhaus located right across the river in Newport, Kent. I am looking forward to Oktoberfest Zinzinnati as a way to get in touch with my German roots, while drinking good beer, eating good food and listening to good music with my friends. I also like that Cincinnati is home to the largest Oktoberfest in North America, bringing in over 500,000 people each year since 1976 to celebrate this German tradition. Aside from the most idyllic weather that romances the landscape of the Midwest, fall is all about fashion! This season welcomes back the return to elegance. Silhouettes of the 50s and 60s graced the fall 2011 runways, and lucky for us, the trend has spread to all major fashion brands – check out the new Mad Men Collection for Banana Republic. I’ll be snapping up a lot of the mod-inspired pieces, with clean lines and sophisticated cuts. I can’t wait to layer up with a bold-colored swinging jacket, so bring on that crisp, autumn breeze!

I’m getting excited to move back into school for fall quarter and enjoy all the different events in Chicago during the season. The relatively mild weather will allow me to be out and about in some of my favorite outfits, featuring dresses paired with opaque tights, pea coats, high-waisted skinny jeans and pencil skirts.

I’m looking forward to honeycrisp apples! I had never had one until we moved to Cincinnati, and now I’m hooked. There’s nothing like a cold Honeycrisp to welcome fall – sweet and crunchy perfection. I keep a big bowl of them on the counter throughout the season for easy snacking.

I am so excited about fall this year especially, because it will be the first fall we spend in our new home. I love to decorate with fall colors and make the house smell with delicious scents of pumpkin. I cannot wait to go to Burger Farms pumpkin patch with Holly.

I love the reptile trend that hit the runways for fall. It’s a great way to add texture and a big pow to an outfit. I have a great pair of python pants I’ll be rocking this season, but also love the booties and wide belts. Snake skin accessories look best with black, gray, silver, even purples, blues and greens.
