Cincy Chic: Tell us more about Elizabeth In Kind!
Betsy Leonidas, founder of Elizabeth In Kind: Elizabeth In Kind is an online paper goods and gift store! Our products are meant to inspire women and girls to be organized, creative, and authentic, but the heart of our business is meant to inspire females to be strong but also kinder to one another.

Cincy Chic: What’s the inspiration behind it?
Leonidas: I have wanted to start a paper and gift shop since I was 22. I moved to New York City and while my friends shopped in Soho, I would spend hours wandering through Paper Source in heaven sifting through all things paper and gift giving letting my creative mind wander. I’ve wanted my own store ever since but have reserved this dream for when I retire from corporate life. I would move with my husband to Colorado and spend my days toggling between the store and getting that tan weathered mountain air face on the slopes.

Fast forward 15 years. I’ve hustled my way up the corporate ladder while having four beautiful healthy kids. I’ve learned so much and have fought to build a career I’m proud of, until one day I realized that the corporate world was no longer my dream and furthermore the environment wasn’t right for me either. It was hard to see the way people treated each other, often women. Ladies, we can do better!

So I’ve decided to combine my two passions of opening a store and for lifting women up. My goal is to inspire us all to be strong and fight for the things we want, but to also always be kind and supportive of one another. This world is enormous, and there is room for us all to succeed, but we can’t succeed without strength, without grace, and without helping one another.

“Elizabeth” is after me and my daughter Adeline Elizabeth and “In Kind” is to remind us all of the ripple effect of kindness, so let’s spread some kindness one word at a time!

Cincy Chic: Who’s behind it?
Leonidas: I am the founder! I do have a production assistant who’s been a big part of helping grow this business, Francine Wright.

Cincy Chic: When did you launch your business?
Leonidas: We opened in February 2020.

Cincy Chic: What do you carry in your shop?
Leonidas: We carry primarily paper goods (stationery, notebooks, Post Its, writing and drawing supplies, etc) and gifts (drinkware, pouches, etc). Most of our items can be personalized. My goal has always been to carry products that help women feel unique, creative, and organized. That could be anything from a wine glass with a funny saying that makes the perfect gift, the markers that inspire girls to keep channeling their inner artist, or notebooks that capture the hopes, and dreams of women. With creativity, organization, and that unique flair, we foster confidence, which is what every woman or girl needs more of.

Cincy Chic: How can readers shop your products?
Leonidas: Shop Elizbeth In Kind at

Cincy Chic: What makes Elizabeth In Kind unique?
Leonidas: There are so many paper and gift shops out there, and there really is room for all of us to succeed. I think what makes Elizabeth In Kind unique is our mission. We’re all about women supporting women, and that really shows through all of our content and products. Women really are getting behind our mission, which is an amazing feeling of community.

Cincy Chic: Is there anything new on the horizon for 2021?
Leonidas: We’re always up to something fun and creative for those big holidays and gift giving moments and we are always designing new stationery, but I have big goals of manufacturing 2022 planners! It would be such a dream come true!

Cincy Chic: Where can readers go to learn more and follow along?
