World Glass Bar is located in the heart of Mt. Adams.

Cincy Chic: Tell us about World Glass Bar!
Steven Hromadka, founder and owner of World Glass Bar: World Glass Bar or “The World Glass” is a casual and comfortable neighborhood bar and cozy patio in charming Mt. Adams.

Cincy Chic: What inspired you to open the bar?
Hromadka: The vision is to create a space where people can taste the world through a glass of beer, wine, or a custom cocktail. The idea is to have people enjoy premium selections from across the globe all under one roof. This inspiration comes from my experiences growing up abroad and traveling extensively throughout the world. I want people to use this space to reminisce or share about their travels or their home country in a multicultural environment.

Cincy Chic: When did you open World Glass Bar?
Hromadka: We had our grand opening on February 15, 2020, only to be shut down by COVID-19 a month later! We worked very hard to re-open in the fourth quarter and are hoping things improve in 2021!

Cincy Chic: What can readers find on the menu and drink list?
Hromadka: We focus on offering an international selection of high-quality options in each category, as well as the typical domestic and local favorites.

We have beers on draft and in bottles/cans from the top beer producing countries of the world ranging from the Czech Republic to Japan. We have wines on draught, by the glass or the bottle from countries ranging from South Africa to New Zealand. Our custom cocktails are prepared with premium liquors from around the world like Cachaca from Brazil or Ouzo from Greece. We also feature a great selection of fine bourbons.

We also offer small bites to eat from around the world that pair nicely with our drink selections.

Cincy Chic: What makes World Glass Bar unique?
Hromadka: In addition to our international selections, the photos I have taken on my travels lining the walls on either side of the LED backlit world map, the blue epoxy flooring meant to resemble the ocean, and the travel-inspired programming on the TVs, all work in tandem to create the feeling of an international adventure. We even include all taxes on guests’ bills, similar to many countries around the world.

Cincy Chic: Where are you located and what are your hours?
Hromadka: We are located in the space that used to house Yesterday’s Saloon. We spent eight months remodeling the space and continue to make updates and upgrades.

We are currently open Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5pm during the week and 4pm on the weekends.

Cincy Chic: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Hromadka: Yes, after the success of our recent wine tastings, we have planned more, as well as some bourbon tastings. We will be starting comedy shows with the first on February 25. We also have plans for expansion and will be adding multiple items to the menu soon.

Cincy Chic: Where can readers go to learn more and follow along?
Hromadka: People can follow us on Facebook and Instagram as well as our sites worldglassbar.com or theworldglass.com
