A new Pop-up in Cincinnati has everyone wanting to escape down the rabbit hole.
During these difficult times we’ve all found ourselves wanting to escape from reality. That’s the idea behind the new pop-up experience in Cincinnati, The Alice.
“The Alice is a 12-week pop up that combines cocktails, theater and an escape room. It’s a unique blend of solving riddles to find ingredients to make cocktails in steaming tea pots all led by The Mad Hatter,” says Shelley Allen with Hidden Media Network. “It’s a fun, 90-minute experience where our curious team takes the curiouser down the rabbit hole!”
The goal behind The Alice is to bring a unique type of escape to people. “In these difficult times we wanted to bring a bit of fun and joy into the world! The inspiration is from an urge to escape for 90 minutes, be someone different and do something totally different,” adds Allen.
So who is behind The Alice you may ask? Explore Hidden has hosted thousands of virtual and live experiences in over 30 different cities from Los Angeles, California, to Sydney, Australia.
With pop-up experiences still quite unusual in the Cincinnati area, people may be surprised by how immersive the experience can be. “It’s an empty warehouse structure that has been transformed for this pop up for 12 weeks, so it’s raw, it’s gritty and it’s very silly. It’s not a bar, it’s a 90-minute immersive journey that takes people into a different realm for a period of time,” Allen says.
“There are lots of fun and exciting pop-ups coming soon,” she adds.
