Homewatch CareGivers is a home-care service that provides in-home personal care, life care and transportation services in the Greater Cincinnati area. From urgent home childcare to caring for an elderly parent, licensed caregivers can be an invaluable addition to any home.

The company’s mission is to be the “premiere home care provider” in the market, Director of Marketing Lauri Sachs says. New to the Cincinnati market, Sachs says the company can help people of all ages and walks of life.

Sachs says her clients are among the “sandwich generation,” those who are juggling the demands of caring for children and parents. This is where Homewatch comes into play. A licensed caregiver can come into the home to prepare a light meal and care for Grandma while giving Mom a break.

“It’s peace of mind, knowing someone trusted can step in,” she says, summing up the service.

And clients can count on that piece of mind. “Skill-set alone does not ensure a place on [the Homewatch CareGivers] team,” according to the company’s Web site. “Integrity is equally important.” In addition, all 57 caregivers are accredited, bonded and insured and have gone through three levels of pre-employment screening: character, care expertise and criminal background investigations.

“Our people are of the highest caliber,” Sachs says. “We can take care of persons of all ages and situations.”

Clients will find convenience in the electronic system, Sachs says. For example, the company can track visits through an electronic system. Clients can make arrangements via e-mail. A concerned relative can view an online summary of care through the Homewatch system, Sachs says.

Clients will also find the rates reasonable, Sachs says. For example, for a two-hour visit, Homewatch charges between $20 and $25, depending on the services required. Another advantage, she says, is the 24/7 availability.
