Kate Noble describes her yoga studio, Shine Yoga, as a “little yoga studio with a big heart.” As the owner and director of the studio, Noble says she’s supported by a team of well-trained and deeply caring teachers who offer clients a wide variety of yoga classes.

“We truly have something for everyone,” she adds. “Our intention is to support, inspire and empower each person that walks through the door.”

Shine Yoga offers classes for all fitness levels and stages of life from pre-natal to senior and everything in between. “We even have classes to help you heal and classes to help you shine,” says Noble.

The studio was one of the first yoga studios to open in Cincinnati and was originally an Asusara, or alignment-based, yoga studio. “Over the last few years, Shine has opened itself up to a wider variety of yoga styles which include more Vinyasa, or therapeutic, yoga and more family-community yoga classes,” Noble says.

Staying true to the core values of yoga and having a supportive community has been essential to Shine’s growth over the years, according to Noble. “Alignment continues to be a core element in all classes because the benefits of proper alignment are too valuable to ignore as it supports the body in practices and allows you to explore the more advanced postures of the practice with grace and ease,” she adds.

The core class structures at Shine Yoga focus on basics and beginners, alignment and align and flow classes. Class sizes are small, pace varies, and modifications are offered according to each student as an individual. “Our yoga is not one-size-fits-all,” says Noble. “We truly are here to help you feel your best and to help your experience the great benefit of cultivating harmony in body, mind, heart and soul.”

In honor of Mother’s Day, Shine Yoga is inviting any paying client to bring along their mother or adult child age 16 and older to any class on Saturday, May 10, or Sunday, May 11. One free guest permitted per paying student and regular class prices apply, which you can find by clicking here.

Nobel says she and her team at Shine Yoga are always working to offer something new and special. During the month of May, Shine Yoga is premiering MovNat, a physical education and fitness system based on the full range of natural human movement abilities. May 17 is all about Natural Fitness with Chandler Steves of AstroAsana. Then, May 18 is a yoga practice inspired by astrological influences. They are also offering a meditation and yoga workshop May 24. “Plus, Shine tries to offer a national yoga tour stop once a year and is looking forward to hosting Todd Norian in October,” she adds.

Noble says she’s excited to announce they also have a community/donation class being offered on Tuesday nights in May from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. and will be kicking off the studio’s 200 RYT Teacher Training this fall.
