Cat Greene and Julie Marsh, co-founders of Running in Lipstick

Running In Lipstick is their name. Holding back flyways in a fashionable fashion is their game.

Cat Greene and Julie Marisch, both Cincinnati residents, co-founded the business, which manufacturers patented non-slip headband designs.

Running In Lipstick headbands, which start at $12, are made from soft, stretchable fabrics to prevent strain on pressure points that cause headaches and even migraines. The non-slip design stays firmly in place through sweat-drenched runs, convertible rides and much more.

While being extremely pleased with the feedback that the company has received on their designs thus far, Marisch says they’re also in the process of improving the website to include a fitness blog to have more personal contact with customers.

“Although we currently only sell headbands, we are much more than a typical headband company,” says Marisch. “We believe strongly in living a healthy lifestyle, the power of positive thinking and encouraging others to have a positive self image.”

The stylish headwear is also made for men who want to look good while working out. Marisch says “The Man Band” retails for $12 and currently comes in royal blue or black.

“[On] the horizon, we plan on increasing our design selection,” explains Marisch. “We will be attending several Cincinnati area events this fall to help spread this message and introduce Running In Lipstick.”
