Our life colors – or aura* colors – demonstrate distinct personality characteristics such as how we physically move within our environment, how we mentally process events and how we emotionally establish relationships and habits. How you act, think and feel is transmitted to the brain and then to the heart muscle causing reactions of speeding up, slowing down, etc. You are in charge of your exercise, eating and health habits, so check out some of these heart healthy tips for your aura.

You already have an “A+” personality and want to succeed at everything you do. You are physically strong, but at times can push your body too far. You need to gauge your exuberance for work, food, drink and play in order to remain heart healthy. Swap some red meat for red salmon, drink a little less alcohol and know when to rest.

ORANGE – Your biggest challenge to remaining heart healthy is your quest for the next daredevil exploit. Your heart pumps faster with lots of adrenaline from the physical challenges of life and limb that you love to experience, but you need to temper that with some rest and relaxation. Try swimming or biking for a balanced pace.

Modify some of your erratic behavior. Eat healthier and engage in some fun dancing for exercise for a healthier heart.

YELLOW – You balance physical, mental and emotional energies through your light-hearted attitude and natural ability to channel healing energies throughout your body to live heart healthy. Continue to utilize the energy of your sense of taste and of smell and use your “gut” intuition to guide you towards heart healthy choices.

MENTAL/PHYSICAL TAN – You are dedicated to your daily work tasks. You precisely, analytically and physically carry the burden of completion without regard to your bodily needs. Take time to eat nutritiously, rest and engage in a physical routine to stimulate your heart and renew your spirit.

You love to help co-workers, community and family with your kind actions and loving heart. It is time for you to make fewer commitments to others and concentrate on finding some structured time for exercise, perhaps with a community softball team. Make sure you also plan a leisurely meal for good digestion.

GREEN – So many tasks, so little time and so many worries along the road to success for you. You need to work a little less and relieve tension and stress so your heart remains healthy. Since you like control, try an exercise like squash, racquetball, tennis or golf and follow up with some relaxing yoga.

You are compassionate, sensitive and emotional. Reach within yourself and recognize that you will be healthier to help others once renewed with a walking program and proper diet.

 LAVENDER – You enjoy focusing your imagination on self improvement and healing arts. Meditation, Pilates and walking will increase your energy and pulse rate while relaxing your body and getting you into shape. You may also choose heart healthy regimens that include herbal products to supplement your daily diet.

INDIGO – You will mentally challenge yourself to continually connect with new ideas, products and/or methodologies to insure a heart healthy lifestyle. You heal your body quickly through the use of will, consciousness and great physical effort. You love individual sports that challenge, exhilarate and offer prime health benefits.

You have powerful insight to accomplish your heart healthy mission. Focus your attention on a self-improvement project instead of staying so busy managing other projects. Plan a walking regimen or body-strengthening program that you can start gradually and build on. You should also start a food diary to help you make sure you are eating properly.

CRYSTAL – You can be emotionally sensitive and physically vulnerable because you are a natural healer and tend to absorb either positive or negative energies from people around you. Center on yourself through yoga, strength training or even running, and you will feel better. Learn to cope better and become more heart healthy.
