Parenting is considered to be the most difficult and yet the most rewarding and important job that we can perform during our adult lives. Parenting requires skills using a combination of love and logic, nurture and support, guidance and education that will foster healthy emotional and intellectual development in our children. Our Auras* help define our mental, emotional, and spiritual beliefs, so understanding your Aura color may lead you to better parenting, or at the very least, finding your strengths.
RED – You will be a passionate, determined and very physically interactive parent. Your passion sometimes erupts in anger, so you should learn more patience; however your determination to teach and lead your children to success is paramount. You will love engaging in sports and/or healthy physical activities with your children.
ORANGE – You are a risk taker and a sports enthusiast; your children will learn courage and perseverance through the many exotic and extreme vacation destinations that will be part of their lives. Your high spirited emotions and passion for travel will help them adapt easily in different cultures to food, people and accommodations.
MAGENTA – You will be a creative, yet unpredictable parent. You get bored easily, so you will not be long on patience or repetitive teaching skills. Your role will be best utilized for trips to the art gallery, painting classes or ballet classes and you will love to shop for the latest styles to be worn by family members.
YELLOW – You will be an energetic parent who loves to participate in multiple activities and social events with your children. You will parent with humor, joy and sensitivity to your children; your work never ends, and bedtime is very late, but you will end the day with a sense of achievement and love.
MENTAL/PHYSICAL TAN – You will tend to be a more serious parent who will communicate through teaching, leading and showing your children how to be responsible for their actions. Museums, libraries, bookstores, and outdoor family activities will be part of their education. You will offer patience and positive reinforcement.
LOVING/NURTURING TAN – You will tend to parent by consensus with your children. Your even tempered nature and community commitment will be part of their educational experience. Your children will learn the importance of helping others and sacrificing material goods for good deeds.
GREEN – You will teach your children the art of success through leadership. School and work are very important to you; rewards of hard work are also taught to be earned and purchased. You will demand honesty and integrity, but can sometimes carry perfectionism too far. Remember to teach your children that laughter is healthy.
BLUE – Your sensitivity, wisdom and abundance of love will make you a wonderful parent. Your only fault will be that you love too much and will hold on to your children, making everything all right instead of letting them make their own mistakes. You will teach your children to share their feelings and to love unconditionally.
LAVENDER – Your strength in parenting will be to teach your children how to fantasize and use their imagination. Schooling and work and physical activities are important, but all children need to be encouraged to hold onto their imaginations through writing, drawing, acting and playtime. You will also teach the fine art of relaxation.
INDIGO – You are multi talented and extremely intelligent and intuitive as a parent. You will love to engage your children in activities that will include travel to museums, libraries, foreign countries or sporting events that will teach and heighten their mind, body and spirit connection to the universe. They will be independent free thinkers.
VIOLET – You will use a strong, opinionated parenting style towards your children. You have a strong commitment to teaching right from wrong, and opening the eyes of your children to the wrongdoings of the world. You will teach pride in making the world a better place for all and expect them to pursue donating time and money to causes.
CRYSTAL – You are a natural healer and teacher and will give your children a strong understanding of right and wrong. You will guide your children to find a spiritual path through strong religious training, and to have a sense of community spirit, compassion, and commitment to taking care of responsibilities and others less fortunate.
