Art on Vine is a monthly art event featuring more than 40 local artists

Shop Local? Support Tri-State charities? Check out downtown hot-spots? If you’re saying “yes, yes, yes!” you’ll want to visit Art on Vine, a monthly art event that features more than 40 local artists and supports local causes.

James Jenkins, owner of Photography For The People, says the idea for Art on Vine actually came about in a class project and he was inspired to make the concept a reality.

“The goal of Art on Vine is to become the new, fun and casual way to buy art in Cincinnati, while showcasing local artists,” he explains.

The event is not only giving limelight to local artists, but it’s also making downtown Cincinnati more attractive to residents, suburbanites and outsiders alike. “Art lovers are flocking to the city from all over the region to get a peak at the work,” Jenkins says.

You can visit Art on Vine to get a trendy new piece of art for your home, office or as a gift for a loved one.

“July 27 was the second anniversary of Art on Vine and marks the beginning of the event’s second year,” says Jenkins. The next Art on Vine will be held August 9 on Fountain Square from 12 to 6 p.m. You can also check out the Return of Art on Vine to Rhinegeist Brewery on September 7 from 12 to 7 p.m. “Art on Vine will remain at Rhinegeist Brewery for the rest of the year on October 19, November 16 and December 14, when the Holiday Gift Sale will be held,” Jenkins adds.
