Cincy Chic: What is Beyond the Brick?
Stacy Payne and Brooke Roscoe, Co-owners at Beyond the Brick:Established in 2012, Beyond the Brick is a home trends company specializing in one-of-a-kind home décor and custom window treatments, as well as interior design and remodeling. We provide our clients with products and services that are customized to fit their style and make their house a home.
Cincy Chic: Who’s behind the business?
Payne and Roscoe: We are the co-owners and designers of our business. We’re sisters and share the same passion for interior design and handcrafting unique home décor.
Cincy Chic: Where is Beyond the Brick located?
Payne and Roscoe: We’re a home-based business in Union, Kentucky, with hopes of opening a brick and mortar location in the future.
Cincy Chic: What are your goals for the business?
Payne and Roscoe: We recently partnered with several boutiques and are now reaching customers in the Lexington and Louisville areas with goals of expanding into Ohio by the end of this year. We continue to grow our partnership with local realtors and home builder sales representatives in providing closing gifts to their clients as well as assisting their clients in decorating their new homes. In January, we introduced Beyond the Brick “Home Parties.” Hostesses have an opportunity to earn free décor while enjoying a fun ladies night with friends.
Cincy Chic: What makes Beyond the Brick unique?
Payne and Roscoe: Our personalized home décor product line makes our company unique. Our designs are popular gifts for a new baby, weddings and all other special occasions. We also accept special requests and can usually produce whatever the client envisions. Our custom window treatments can finish a room for a completely fresh look. Instead of store bought panels and a plain curtain rod, try a cornice board or a special order fabric that provides a distinctive look. Our interior design and remodeling services bring fresh ideas to transform a space, room or entire house. Our goal is to work with the client to make their house feel like a “home.”
Cincy Chic: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Payne and Roscoe:We are always creating new home décor designs – almost weekly! These products are revealed on our Facebook page and available for purchase on our website. Like our Facebook page to be the first to see new products and interior design projects, participate in contests and to receive discounts!
