Cincy Chic: How did you get to where you are today – Front of House Manager at Bouquet Restaurant?
Jessica Williams, Bouquet Restaurant:I started at Bob Evans when I was 15 and have been in restaurants ever since!

 

Cincy Chic: What was it that drew you to Bouquet Restaurant?
Williams: I was trying to do school full-time and manage another local restaurant, which was too much! A friend who worked at Bouquet and is best friends with my now husband Stephen (Chef and Owner of Bouquet) said they needed a good server. I fell in love with the place as soon as I walked in.

 

Cincy Chic:How do you balance it all being a soon-to-be-mom?
Williams: I have an awesome staff behind me! Everyone has been so supportive and really stepped up and taken over a lot of my responsibilities – that and a really comfy office chair for naps! We can’t wait to be able to bring our son in and make him a part of our routine and the business.

 

Cincy Chic: What makes Bouquet unique?
Williams: The amount of time and passion that we put into everything we do from the food to the candles on the tables. The restaurant is our home and I hope that shows to the people who dine with us. It’s not just a job. We genuinely love what we do!

 

Cincy Chic: What do you love the most about your job?
Williams: The awesome people I meet every day and the family that I have gained out of our staff and regulars. Plus, I eat really well and have a rather large wine collection!

 

Cincy Chic: How has the business grown since you joined the team?
Williams: Since I have started around four years ago we have added liquor to our bar, tripled in size and now employ about 16 people which is a lot for us! When I started I think maybe a whole eight worked there!

 

Cincy Chic: How do you hope the business will grow in the future?
Williams: I hope that we are able to continue to do what we love for a long time. It’s always great to have someone in for the first time and be impressed with what we are doing. There are a lot of really great new places in the city I just hope we can keep up and continue to send people home happy.
