Cincy Chic: Who’s behind the new business Rose and Remington?
Kristin Ponchot, Co-owner of Rose and Remington: Rose and Remington is run by a mother-daughter duo. My mother, Dee Alexander, and I are Lebanon natives and we also run a modern general store called Green Country Market that opened in September 2012.
Cincy Chic: What’s the inspiration behind the concept for your store?
Ponchot: With the store we wanted to create an eclectic, creative boutique that the average person could actually afford to shop.

Cincy Chic: How and when did you get started?
Ponchot: We opened in November 2013 when the building next to Green Country Market became available.
Cincy Chic: How has Rose and Remington grown and changed in the few months since you’ve been open?
Ponchot: Since opening six months ago, we’ve added curvy sizes and denim. Rose & Remington is also excited to be opening our new lingerie area in a few weeks!
Cincy Chic: What types of items do you sell at Rose and Remington and what are you price points?
Ponchot: What’s great about us is that we offer a variety of price points. Many of our lines are 25 to 25 percent less than other stores and we sell jewelry at exceptionally great prices. Freshness is a big offering for us so we make sure new items arrive daily.
Cincy Chic: Is there anything new on the horizon?
Ponchot: Our website, roseandremington.com, is in the works and we plan to launch in early summer! We thought this would be nice to have because we have so many customers asking to purchase items online.
Cincy Chic: Where can readers go to learn more?
Ponchot: Check out our Facebook page for new items and updates!
