Cincy Chic: Tell us more about the concept behind The Hearth Room!
Lisa Colina, Event Manager at The Hearth Room: The concept behind The Hearth Room was to create a comfortable, yet luxurious and upscale private event space that combines our passion for classic, handcrafted cocktails with the design aesthetic you see at Bromwell’s.
Cincy Chic: When did The Hearth Room officially open?
Colina: The opening night event and ribbon cutting ceremony at The Hearth Room took place on Wednesday, September 17, 2014.
Cincy Chic: Who’s behind the business?
Colina: The Hearth Room is a unique venture for Wellmann’s Brands! We combined forces and partnered with Jeff McCLorey, owner of Bromwell’s, to accommodate the many requests we both have to rent out our existing spaces.
Cincy Chic: What services do you offer customers?
Colina: At The Hearth Room, we offer a warm and inviting private event space that is suitable for most functions. We have a full service bar, specializing in handcrafted cocktails by top-notch mixologists, and we work with a pretty incredible group of both caterers and local restaurants to meet the needs of our clients who would like to include food for their events.
Cincy Chic: What makes the Hearth Room unique?
Colina: The Hearth Room is not your typical event space. We have a beautiful gas lit fireplace that quite literally “warms” up the space in both temperature and feel! Most of the artwork was completed by local artists, the furniture was crafted right here in Ohio and a one of a kind chandelier, designed and built by Jeff McClorey, hangs over the dining space. We feature handcrafted cocktails and punches and a fantastic selection of local brews, and of course, LOTS of bourbon!
Cincy Chic: How has the business grown in the short time that you’ve been open?
Colina: Since opening The Hearth Room just under a month ago, we have had a tremendous response from Cincinnati! We’re filling up fast through the holidays and we can’t thank the city enough for their support!
Cincy Chic: Where is the Hearth Room located?
Colina: The Hearth Room is located at 125 West Fourth Street in downtown Cincinnati.
Cincy Chic: Why did you choose that location?
Colina: We chose The Hearth Room’s location to be in close proximity of the many offices, businesses and hotels in the Central Business District here in Cincinnati.
Cincy Chic: What are your goals for the future?
Colina: The Hearth Room aims to stay busy! Our goal is to continue to provide the unique space we have for all of our friends, both old and new, to enjoy here in Cincinnati!
