Everyday Inspiration: Fly First Class
Dear Angelic Magnificent Ones,
I rewrote and adapted this from an email I was sent years ago. The message is still as inspirational then as it is today.
Ready to fly?
Fly First Class. Not coach. Not business class. Always fly First Class. Yet, never board an aircraft to do so. How is that possible? It’s possible because First Class is not an extra wide seat with high-end food and drink. It’s YOU… or it’s not. Let me explain.
First Class is nothing more than a head game, a series of yes or no decisions, each and every day. First Class is a way to live and thrive, unless you are content merely to survive. First Class costs you absolutely nothing. Intrigued?
First Class begins when you close your eyes to fall asleep being grateful for the things in your life, from your family and friends to the difficult challenges in your life. First Class continues the next morning when you wake up early, refreshed and determined to make a perfect stranger’s day memorable simply by meeting them for the first time and treating them like gold from Fort Knox.
First Class continues when you make a decision never to go out in public if your appearance is less than First Class. Who knows, you could run into the President of the United States or even your next customer?
Yet it will be the relationship with yourself that is reflected here. When you do this FOR yourself it shows. First class presence will exude from First classers and attract First class people. Like attracts like. How you feel about yourself shows on the outside as a way of Being.
On any given day, is your blouse crisp, are your blue jeans clean, hair combed, 24/7? Or is your appearance sometimes Second Class? We only get one chance to make a good First impression, that’s why they call it first impression right? First impressions of First classers tend to be first rate for obvious reasons. First impressions of second classers tend not to lead to second chances.
First Class embraces adversity. First Class offers assistance. First Class requires commitment. First Class portrays confidence. First Class stresses consummate courtesy. First Class exudes excellence. First Class attracts customers. First Class is easy. First Class is free. First Class is fun. First Class shows love to one and all. First Class creates opportunities. First Class is professional. First Class demonstrates respect for one and all. First Class is sincere. First Class reduces stress. First Class Rocks. First Class seeks problems to solve. First Class always smiles. First Class strives mightily to succeed. First Class never surrenders. First Class takes whatever life offers up, good or bad, and turns it into something worthwhile. First Class wins.
Make the change now. Never fly coach or business class again. Fly First Class the second you wake up and then fly First Class all day long until the sun goes down. When go to sleep, dream of flying First Class tomorrow and the day after and the day after that, until the end of your time here. What a different, dynamic life you will experience. What wonderful people you will encounter each day whose lives you will change forever. What a positive, powerful impact you will have on an admittedly chaotic, turbulent, unsettled world that needs YOU to fly First Class every day to make it a better place for us all.
Claim Your Crown. Fly First Class.
Are you ready?
As you take each step I will be there reminding you of your Magnificence, and I will continue to do so, until you are able to see it in yourself.
