Everyday Inspiration: Save Yourself

Everyday Inspiration: Save Yourself

Dear Magnificent Ones,

Is there a game of life? What’s the purpose for you being here? Does your life matter? Do you matter? Do you wonder if the decisions you make and the thoughts you think have an impact on the world?

“We are at a critical time in human history when our journey of becoming who we are fully and authentically has the capacity to lift and inspire the entire world.” – Claire Zammet

You are making an impact. A huge monumental impact. Albeit unconsciously or consciously. I’m not saying this to scare you or to put fear into your actions. I’m pointing this out so that you become aware of the sheer magnitude of your life’s potential.

The game of life is simple. It is to become yourself fully and authentically. Accepting ourselves fully. To fall madly in love with the divine essence that is you. That imperfect perfection. To stop paying lip service to the voices outside that tell us what success, motherhood, or relationships look like, how spiritual you must be, what clothes you must wear, how to talk, drink, volunteer, act, live your life. This is a never-ending distraction from who you really are. The world will always supply you with a long list of what you need in order to be ‘somebody’ and to exist.

It starts with you putting yourself first, unapologetically. Connecting to that deep part of you at your core, Your essence. That is the spark that drives you, that compels you, that connects you to something greater.

It’s not about saving the world or anybody in it. It’s about saving you. It is only when you fully embody who you are that you can fully hear the internal voice that guides you. When you connect to your inner self, you don’t need any outside source to save you and tell you are broken, small, inadequate, or powerless without them. When you are grounded in the deepest highest expression of yourself, you can connect to others from your fullness, your wholeness, your completeness. You don’t need others or material things to complete you. You are whole already.

From this place of being grounded and connected you then become a vessel radiating the power and presence of authenticity and truth. You become a living breathing example that others can tap into. From your wholeness and wellness you send out a message to others reminding them of their own truth. Embodying your magnificence inspires others into their own. That is the greatest gift and contribution you could ever make.

When your authentic self comes along to every place you go, every interaction you make, every relationship you encounter, it changes everything. When we change our relationship with ourselves, our external world changes accordingly. Increasing your growth increases the world’s growth. The two go hand in hand. The love and acceptance we give ourselves has a direct impact on the world at large. The more you discover yourself the more you discover the world and the greatness in it.

“The gift you share is not to save the world but to fully belong to it. It’s not possible to save the world by trying to save it. You need to find out what’s genuinely yours to offer the world before you could make it a better place. Discovering what you can uniquely give to your community is the greatest challenge. The offering of that gift, your true self, is the most you can do to love and serve the world. And it is all the world needs.” -Sara Beak
