Everyday Inspiration: The One You’ve Been Waiting For

Everyday Inspiration: The One You’ve Been Waiting For

by -

Turns out YOU are the one you’ve been waiting for. What would you do with a magic wand?

Don’t you wish that people were different? Why are there such horrible things happening around me? That hounding boss, that intolerable customer. Your unappreciative kids, your impatient husband.

Every single person in your life and the situations you deal with each day provide the perfect opportunity to awaken to Who you Really Are. Every single interaction contains an environment in which to become conscious. Your life is merely one continuous curriculum in a school designed to provide an environment for your growth.

Each of these negative people you encounter is showing you ways in which you are bound by anger, hatred, and worthlessness yourself. Each person is a mirror lovingly, blazingly holding up a picture of you. As you witness what they say and do to you, you are only able to interact with them based on what is inside of you. Which is a mix of your thoughts, your feelings, your past, your inadequacies… all that is unique unto you. What you see then is a reflection of what is inside of you. You can only see what you are able to interpret. So regardless of what is coming FROM the other, what you see has everything to do with You and very little to do with them.

Yes, this is tough to accept. How easy it was to blame all those people in our lives for all the terrible hurtful things that you felt! But no more. Take this as your greatest opportunity to become Empowered, Alive, and Free. Get to know Who You Are and Who You came here to be. Acknowledge the greatness you possess inside and release the chains that have been weighing you down your entire life.

When we see the world as broken and needing to be fixed, it is because we see ourselves as the same. It all starts with you. We cannot give to anyone else what we do not possess or cannot experience ourselves. This is the turning point to True Freedom. We cannot change what we don’t acknowledge. Acknowledging the process that is unfolding in our everyday interactions is the starting point.

This process cannot begin until we are willing to look at ourselves and forgive the one whom we are supposed to love the most – OURSELVES. When we take ownership of what we are and what we are working on, we take ownership of the unique lessons we came here to learn.

Only through the interaction with others can we SEE it. Can you see how important and loving the others’ role is? Without that spouse that refuses to talk to you, you may not realize that your greatest growth will come in forcing yourself into new relationships, or into new ways of relating to your spouse. In the end, your contribution to the planet is enhanced because you have overcome a huge obstacle and can relate to others who are stuck.

When we shift from seeing our experiences as something that is happening TO us to something that is happening FOR us, we are able to shift our entire perception of the world. This is a miracle mindset. A miracle happens when we are able to see what is in front of us in an entirely New way. It miraculously changes us and every interaction from then on contains the potential for growth, awareness, and freedom.

Instead of seeing that nasty boss and wishing she were different, see her for the perfection that she is. Like her, you are being offered an opportunity to grow, and free yourself of some past hurt that has been hanging around for too long. You will stop suffering when you start seeing these seemingly horrible people and situations as anything other than for your benefit. Stop wanting and wishing things were different and start allowing. The only thing you have power over is you.

You were never broken. There was never anything to fix. The moment you fully embrace your Imperfect Perfection is the moment you give yourself the gift of unconditional acceptance. It’s the Miracle Mindset that will allow you to see the perfection in the environment around you.

The chains of blame, guilt and wishing things were different have the potential to fall away when you see that everything was designed with you in mind. You’re worth it. Your growth is the only reason to be here.

Are you ready?
