Girl’s Night Out in OTR April 15 features new condos, restaurants and bars in the area |
By now, you’ve probably heard about all the new condos, restaurants and bars that have opened up in Over The Rhine in the past few years. Now, thanks to an upcoming event, you can experience it all in one night.
Coldwell Banker West Shell (CBWS) is hosting a “Girl’s Night Out in the City” in Over the Rhine on April 15 from 5-7pm, complete with craft cocktails by celebrity mixologist Molly Wellmann and light bites from several OTR-based restaurants.
Project Manager Becky Mannix says the CBWS group has been selling condos in OTR for almost seven years. Then, in 2013, they sold more units to women than men. Those stats sparked the idea behind this upcoming Girl’s Night Out in the City event, which features CBWS’ three new condo buildings: Westfalen Lofts on Race Street, One Mercer Condos on Vine Street and Nicolay Lofts on Republic Street.
“We want to give the ladies in the community who may be looking for a new home a chance to tour them while also enjoying some food and drink selections from various places in Over the Rhine,” explains Mannix. “Attendees will get to tour more than 30 new urban condos, and they’ll get to sample some of the great food and drinks that some of the new Over the Rhine restaurants and bars offer.”
Condo owners in Over the Rhine play an important role in bringing stability and vibrancy to the neighborhood, Mannix says. “Residents are the core of the success of Downtown and Over the Rhine,” she adds.
The event will be held at 1432 Race Street in Unit 305 of the Westfalen Lofts building. It’s also the place where food and drinks will be served. Mannix says guides will be on hand to take small groups around the buildings to see other condos.
Keep an eye out for even more condos popping up in Over the Rhine. “We have another building with nine condos opening up in the summer and plans for the next phase of renovated buildings is no underway,” Mannix adds.
There is no cost to attend this event and you can learn more by checking out Over the Rhine Living’s Facebook page or RSVP here.
