Before the big day, there are lots of big stressors for a bride-to-be. That’s why Cincy Bridal Yoga offers brides a unique experience to “restore your bliss before you say ‘I do.'”

Trisha Durham is the mastermind behind Cincy Bridal Yoga at The Shakti Factory on Montgomery Road. Individually crafted classes for any skill level are encouraged for any bride to center herself, and to relieve stresses that surround wedding planning.

Remembering the stresses of wedding planning when she was a bride, she says, as a “professional dancer and now a yoga instructor I cherish movement, and to be able to start my wedding day off with yoga with my dearest friends next to me would have been an unforgettable experience.”

Cincy Bridal Yoga offers private pre-wedding classes for the brides, grooms and/or bridal party that are suitable for all levels. “While there are studios where a bride might book a group private, Cincinnati Bridal Yoga is the first in the city to offer a uniquely crafted class just for the bride and her wedding party,” Durham says. “Every detail from the music to the yoga sequence is created with the individual bride in mind, whether that is for a bachelorette party, a bridal shower or for the morning of her wedding. The bride doesn’t have to do a thing except show up, and we take it from there.”

Don’t fret if you or the bridal party is a yoga beginner, Durham understands specific needs of every individual. “Often times it is a mix of levels when it is the bride and her whole wedding party, but everyone is so open to the experience because it is such a loving event that has brought them together and I find that bridal yoga creates some of the most engaged and receptive groups to do yoga with.”

No matter what the experience the bride is looking for, creativity allows for a fun bridal party experience that will bring everyone involved together. “One Cincy Bridal Yoga event that stands out was the bride, groom and all of their bridesmaids and groomsmen – 17 in total,” Durham recalls. “Some had yoga experience, some did not, some were local, some were from out of town. Everyone was very open to trying new poses and they did some partner yoga poses which was fun and engaging and allowed for everyone to laugh a little at themselves.”

Durham says Cincy Bridal Yoga, “is not about perfect poses and flexible hamstrings, Cincy Bridal Yoga is about restoring a sense of calm so the bride and her party can show up and be present for every moment of the big day.”

Curious about which sessions to plan? “We have packages for bachelorette parties and wedding showers, but our most popular by far is the day-of-wedding yoga and usually with their wedding party present with them,” Durham says. “However, bride and groom packages are available and brides may book a multi-class package that leads up to her wedding.”

Cincy Bridal Yoga is located at 3716 Montgomery Road in Cincinnati. If you’re looking to book a reservation or for more information, visit their website at http://www.cincybridalyoga.com.
