Cincy Chic: What is Done and Dusted?
Lauren Ehrler, Co-Owner of Done and Dusted: Done and Dusted is a full-service lifestyle management company that makes life easier by taking care of the everyday tasks that clutter your calendar. From house cleaning to errands or meal prep to home organization, Done and Dusted takes care of it all.

Cincy Chic: What inspired you to launch a business like Done and Dusted?
Ehrler: We (the owners, Lauren Ehrler and Mike Weghorst) discovered that it was nearly impossible to juggle everyday tasks along with our busy careers. We wanted to hire someone we could trust to handle everything for us, and we just couldn’t find all those services in one place. At Done and Dusted, we can take on all the mundane tasks so busy professionals and families can spend their spare time doing what they love – not doing chores.

Cincy Chic: Who’s behind the business?
Ehrler: Me (Lauren Ehrler) and Mike Weghorst own Done and Dusted. We’re two busy professionals (I’m a business coach and Mike is a realtor), and we always knew we wanted to start a business together. In our own lives, we wanted to outsource everyday tasks and chores to someone we could trust. We noticed that there were businesses that handle certain types of tasks (home cleaning, for instance). However, it didn’t take long for us to realize that there was a real need for a total lifestyle management company. We knew if there were more people like us – busy professionals with very little free time – there was a market for this concept.

Cincy Chic: What types of services do you offer clients?
Ehrler: We truly handle any home management task you’d rather not do. It might be easier to answer what we don’t do? Haha! We do:

  • Housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Home Organization
  • Meal Planning and Meal Prep
  • Pet Care
  • Errands
  • Vacation Check-ins
  • Concierge Service
  • Setting appointments
  • Taking vehicles in for servicing
  • Waiting at your home for service providers (plumber, cable, etc.)
