The Lucky Dog Grille in Mason offers quality food, a warm atmosphere, and something for everyone: including man’s best friend.

Co-owner Diane Sutton says that the outdoor patio is always open to well-mannered dogs on a leash “as long as they watch over their owners’ behavior.” There’s even a menu for dogs with entrée and dessert options such as chicken, steak, burgers, hot dogs, and yogurt, and every dog gets a fresh bowl of water and a treat on the house.

For humans, the Lucky Dog Grille offers over 75 American classics on their menu, from entrées to large salads to beloved appetizers. Beloved entrées include pulled pork, beef brisket, pork ribs, pizza, cheesesteaks, quesadillas, and house smoked chicken wings awarded Cincinnati Magazine’s “Best of the North 2015-2016.”

The Lucky Dog Grille makes sure there’s something for everyone, offering vegetarian and gluten free options. In addition to their quality food, the Lucky Dog Grille is known for its craft beer selection. Among their 24 draft taps are some of the best and rarest beers in the area.

The Lucky Dog Grille provides more than just a quality menu and craft beer selection. It provides a fun, relaxed atmosphere, and allowing dogs on the patio is only part of it. “We are the neighborhood local hangout that makes everyone feel at home and always comfortable,” Sutton says. Customers can play Texas Hold ‘Em, trivia games, or pool, come to happy hour, listen to live music once a month, or watch the big games on one of the televisions.

Sutton founded the Lucky Dog Grille with her partner, James McAlpin, 11 years ago in Liberty Township but moved their business to its current location in Mason in 2010. “We have seen our business grow and evolve since the move six years ago,” Sutton says. To drum up even more interest and foster a feeling of friendship, the Lucky Dog Grille is starting up new programs such as Martini Night, Wine Flight Night, and even a Painting Night with a local art studio.

Events for four-legged friends include a Halloween dress-up. Kids eat free on Tuesdays. The Lucky Dog Grille also caters events and offers a loyalty program that rewards regular customers with coupons and discounts based on their purchase histories, such as offering an award for every one hundred dollars spent and sending out specials and offers to rewards customers several times a year.
